This is exactly what I wanted! thank you soooo much!
How so you create a word document like that? With the left and right notes
I love you Gary I was cooked but you have saved me here
Excellent sir
As a student obtaining a master degree, this is indeed helpful.
Using open coding , what brings about the errors ,in the quotes e.g the quote is comes out in a different languages other than english
Can I apply grounded thoery to analyse a specific character on data created by multiple novels. For example, analysis 'women' in English literature; can that be done by using grounded theory?
thanx so much
Very helpful as a PhD candidate, these basics are everything but the senior guys don't want to go through it all.
Andthis is still relevant and helpful today - thank you for sharing this. It was genuinely helpful - MSc, qualitative data, slow lap top and a new found dislike of NVIVO software brought me here.
Do you even know hat tf you talking about ?
Thank you Garry, this video helped me a lot..
Thank you simple and very informative.
❤❤❤
thank you so much. It was very helpful.
This was very useful and easy to follow step by step whilst making notes.
You were born a teacher. I am trying to analyse qual data for my sequential explanatory research design, and this came in handy. Bravo!!
I am beyond grateful. Thank you, Sir Gary!
This was very helpful because you did this in a word file. I’m using Maxqda, and I’m getting lost in my codes. I believe it’s useful to imagine how you would do things without a software or computer , and word or sticky notes is probably the closest thing to that
Hi, is all of qualitative analysis using this method? I mean, qualitative study using thematic analysis or IPA went this method as well?
Thank you, Gary pet of Spongebob.
Thank you so much Gary this is so helpful
This was very helpful. Thank you!
how do you get those side table things on the side of your document. I'm currently doing my coding for my dissertation.
Pls which app are you using to do all this
thank you Gary! I couldn`t find such info anywhere else!
As a PhD student working on analyzing my qualitative data, this was EXTREMELY helpful! Thank you!
While we're on the topic, this proves that on the plantation there were slaves that had virtue. If not, that means that white Americans are the only people in America that have virtue. We know that's not true! Knowledge may not be inherent, but the aptitude for it is definitely inherent, in my opinion.
is there a particular program that researchers use. I have read about quite a few but they all cost money to use and a trial period etc. Is there a program that you would recommend or just use a google doc. I am doing a basic qualitative study for dissertation. personal interviews (15) and 6 interview questions.
Thank you sooooooo much! Best video to explain Grounded theory!!!
He would agree that the fertility of the soil is an external gift . Like the feri!it of the mind it is something we are born with. Just as some soil is more fertile for growing plants than other soil, some minds are better than others for growing virtue. Sand is a completely infertile type of soil. I have been told that ignorance of what is good is the root of vice. It is the root of "sin". If it is true as Socrates says that no one has a clear understanding of what IS " virtue". Can the same be said of what IS vice? We can teach the four pagan cardinal virtues, courage, temperance, and wisdom. But they are different from the cardinal virtues of Christianity. Can Christians or even Muslims be taught to what IS virtue? 🤔😉
Wonderful!!! Thanks, Gary!
U actually makes it seems so fun 🤣 it's like a game haha can't wait to write my final year paper
very nice sir.... can I ask you a question? sir is it ok if your theme will exceed in five words?

Thanks so much, this great , how can I get in touch with you via email or.
1:14 why is my name there lol
Thanks Gary!
very helpful, thank you
we need this in life?
Slides are need to be quite visible sir
Sir good efforts
Thank you very much Gary--you make effect size calculations very simple and understandable. You are a good teacher.
Do you give online private coaching?
Thank for the easy to follow explanation of grounded theory!
I'm taking an online class with vague instructions so Gary, thank you thank you thank you. This was a great video and still helps in 2021. Students, this is the best video to organize and sort out your qualitative data.
thank you. what is the text book used?
Thank you Gary. This was so helpful, I’ve been struggling with coding on my research project but this video made it easier to get the gist of it xxx
God bless you richly, you made this easy and quick for me to apply this in my project. I have finally completed my thesis and passed!
thank you so much! very helpful
While conducting an evaluation of employee performance in a certain organization, the evaluator asked this question- “What influenced your choice of this profession?” and the following responses were captured: Participant 1: I took up social work as a vocation, because I wanted to work with people. I was interested in working with people, face to face! To be there! Where there is a need for people who are ready to talk, to help others and to resolve social problems Participant 2: When I was in my 3rd or 4th year of secondary school, it was a time of mobilization among students and I developed a concern for social problems. From then, I started doing volunteering work and I became interested in the whole ideal of social change. That is what motivated me to choose this profession. Participant 3: It is a profession that allows me to work on myself […] to be a better communicator and also to become the best person that I can be [...] to be a model who can inspire others. Participant 4: Having been through difficult experiences in my life turned me toward this work [...] social work corresponded with what I wanted from my university studies after my wild youth.
